Lee County EMA App

The Lee County EMA is proud to present our very own app, available for download on Google Play and iTunes.  We hope you will enjoy this free app and here are a few reasons why:

Report an Issue: This feature allows you to send reports of storm damage, power outage or other important information directly to the EMA staff.  While we may not respond to every submission, rest assured that we are receiving them, and your submissions are greatly appreciated.

Weather Radio Feed: We are rebroadcasting the NOAA Weather Radio feed directly from our office.  Anytime you would like to hear the current weather information, all you have to do is click the button!

Where Am I?  Ever needed to get your bearings?  With this feature you can get your current location, including GPS coordinates, nearest address and a pin point on your phones default mapping system.  Best of all, you can forward all this information through your phones text messaging, group messaging, email or other means of communication!  Perfect for if your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, or you come across an accident and need to tell the 911 dispatcher where you are, or to help get friends to that perfect camping spot in Chewacla State Park!

Push Notifications: Our office can send customized notifications to your phone during an emergency situation.  We only do this when it is absolutely necessary, so we aren’t blasting your phone with messages.  Our app also automatically forwards out emergency weather alerts, like Tornado Watches and Warnings, Severe Thunderstorm Watches and Warnings, and Flash Flood Warnings.

Other features include:

  • General EMA Information
  • Social Media Feed
  • Training & Events Calendar
  • ALDOT Road Conditions
  • Amber Alerts
  • Weather Forecast
